Brooklyn will embrace the Islanders just as they embraced the Nets. Brooklyn will be home to two pro sports teams, a proud accomplishment for the borough which had been without a team since Dodgers left for Los Angeles in 1957. This is an incredibly exciting time to be a sports fan in Brooklyn!

ABOUT

In fall 2015, the New York Islanders will embark on a historic chapter in their 44-year history as they relocate from their original home arena, Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, to Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. The Islanders will be the second pro team to arrive in the borough since the Nets moved from New Jersey.
